Unissula Bachelor of Law Programme Retains BAN-PT "Unggul" Accreditation Through 2029

The Bachelor of Law (S1 Ilmu Hukum) Study Programme of Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (Unissula) has again retained its “Unggul” (Excellent) accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). The decision is set out in BAN-PT Decree No. 6385/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.Ppj/S/X/2024, valid from 31 October 2024 to 31 October 2029.

The Rector of Unissula, Prof. Dr. Gunarto, SH, MH, expressed his gratitude for the achievement. “Alhamdulillah, the Unissula Bachelor of Law Study Programme has retained its Unggul accreditation through 2029. May this achievement deepen our gratitude to Allah SWT and motivate the entire academic community to keep delivering the best service in education,” he said on Tuesday, 22 October 2024.

The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Jawade Hafidz, SH, MH, also welcomed the result, saying the Unggul accreditation reinforces the faculty's commitment to its internationalisation programme. “We are very grateful. With this accreditation we are all the more confident in continuing our international cooperation. We have established collaborations with many law faculties at home and abroad,” he said.

The result also reflects the high level of public trust in the programme. Its students come from across Indonesia and from several other countries — evidence, according to Jawade, of the faculty's growing national and international reputation.

Dr. Jawade further praised the cohesion of the faculty's academic community in working towards the accreditation. “This is the result of solid cooperation across the whole academic community. We also thank the Rector and the leadership team, as well as the Sultan Agung Endowment Foundation, for their continued support and encouragement,” he concluded.

With the Unggul accreditation secured, the programme is committed to continuing to improve educational quality, expand its international reach, collaborate with other study programmes, and attract prospective students from both Indonesia and abroad.
